Bhutan is a land of myths and legends, and here’s another one! This is amongst the top Paro tourist attractions and also the most famous attraction of Bhutan. Paro Taktsang is said to have been ordained to tame a tiger demon. Legend says that Guru Rinpoche flew here on the back of a tigress from Kurtoe Singye Dzong. The guru then meditated here and the rest you can hear from the locals as you hike or ride through the pines to this breathtaking cliffside monastery. It is a 2 km hike to the monastery.
